How we create a safe, positive experience for every student.

Communication

Student communication operates in a private Slack workspace that CME administers. Staff-student conversations take place in channels our administrators can access, so if a concern is ever raised we can review what happened and act on it.

Every student receives a CME-specific Slack account, separate from any personal accounts. This draws a clear boundary between their coaching relationship and the rest of their digital life.

Staff & Protocols

  • Background Checks

    Every CME employee undergoes a background check before working with students.

  • Mandatory Reporter Training

    All staff complete state-approved mandatory reporter training, ensuring they know how to recognize and properly report signs of inappropriate conduct.

  • Anonymous Reporting

    CME has protocols in place for anonymous reporting. Dedicated staff are responsible for ensuring every student has a safe, positive experience.

  • Code of Conduct

    An internal code of conduct sets strict professional guidelines governing all staff-student interactions.
